Lawrence is an incarcerated farmer, teacher, writer, artist, community organizer and eco/social justice activist. He is serving a 28 year prison sentence in Washington state and is currently preparing to embark on his freedom journey for post-conviction relief and/or clemency.

Meet Lawrence
Lawrence is most passionate about growing powerful communities by helping them reconnect with land through community farming and collective healing with nature. Lawrence is able to share the knowledge, wisdom and understanding gained from his own lived experience to help liberate others, mind, body and soul.
Amongst other things, Lawrence is a creative writer, poet and visual artist. Rooted in cultural influences and themes of Black Autonomy & Survival, his work is mainly centered around his lived experiences with trauma, loss, love, healing and struggle.
